Hi, I’m Amanda — the teacher behind Little Mozart Music! With over 16 years of private teaching experience, I’m passionate about helping students of all ages grow in confidence, creativity, and musical ability through fun and personalized lessons.

My goal is to bring the fun back into learning. Over the years, I’ve cultivated a teaching style that encourages students to express their individuality within a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment. I tailor each lesson to the student’s unique needs and goals while inspiring a genuine excitement for learning. From my own musical experiences, I believe lessons should be engaging and give students something to look forward to every week.

My musical journey began at the age of 5 when I started taking piano lessons in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I studied piano privately alongside my siblings for over 10 years with a teacher who helped me discover just how rewarding music could be in my life.

Learning music at such an early age played a huge role in shaping the person I am today. Over the years, I’ve learned more than 25 instruments and developed a lifelong passion for both music and education. I’ve previously taught at Sally Piano Music in Irvine, California, Okemos Music Academy in Okemos, Michigan, and privately throughout my career. During high school, I served as a pianist for my local church and continue to share my love for music and worship as the Worship Leader for the Sunday morning casual services at First United Methodist Church of Eaton Rapids.

Through music, I’ve experienced its incredible ability to build confidence, creativity, discipline, and connection — and I love helping students discover that for themselves. Whether you’re just beginning your musical journey or looking to grow your existing skills, I’m excited to create a learning experience that is encouraging, engaging, and uniquely tailored to you. My hope is that every student leaves lessons feeling inspired, supported, and excited to make music.
